🔹 Visere Captura 6.0 Release
We have released Visere Captura 6.0, with a strong focus on automation, camera connectivity, and workflow reliability.
The new release introduces an Automation Server with WebSocket support, enabling external systems to control Visere Captura workflows directly. This is an important step for teams that need to connect image capture, turntable movement, filtering, 360 creation, and post-processing into larger business or production systems.

🔹 Automation Workflows Are Moving Forward
The automation tools previewed in earlier newsletters are now moving into a more practical workflow stage with the Visere Captura 6.0 Automation Server.
By using WebSockets and JSON commands, users can begin connecting Visere Captura to custom scripts, production databases, ERP systems, DAM platforms, quality-control workflows, and other automated imaging environments.

🔹 Camera SDK and Upcoming PTP Updates
Visere Captura continues to improve camera support across Canon, Nikon, and Sony workflows.
The latest 6.0 release includes the Canon SDK 13.20.11 update on both Windows and macOS.
Most of the new PTP work is planned for the next version, 6.1, which is currently the beta path toward 7.0. That future release is where PTPCamera and Nikon updates are expected to improve capture reliability and stability.
Recent camera-related work also includes improvements from the 5.0 series, including Nikon Z live view zoom and focus control support, Sony focus indicator and selector support in manual focus mode, and UI improvements such as thumbnail scrolling.
