May 2026 Pictomic Insider Newsletter: Visere Captura 5.0.37013 Patch, Beta Automation, and Pictomic Asset Acquisition Update

This month’s Pictomic Insider includes an important Visere Captura patch release, a preview of the new automation tools currently available in beta, an update on Pictomic’s asset acquisition, and a reminder on where to find current sales offers.

Our focus remains the same: helping studios, e-commerce teams, photographers, and technical imaging users create more consistent, repeatable, and efficient capture workflows.

🔹 Visere Captura 5.0.37013 Patch Release

🔹 New Automation Features in Beta Version 5.1

We are working hard on new automation features currently available in Beta Version 5.1.

With the new automation system, users will be able to control a large number of Visere Captura features through WebSockets. Execution commands can be sent through JSON command files, and Visere Captura will execute those commands and return results through JSON files.

This creates a flexible path for integrating Visere Captura into custom workflows, management systems, databases, ERP platforms, DAM systems, and other automated imaging environments.

Planned automation capabilities include:

  • Capture images from one or multiple cameras
  • Apply Visere Captura image filters
  • Use Background Removal Pro in automated workflows
  • Shoot and Create 360 outputs through scripted commands
  • Control workflows using Python, JavaScript, or any programming language that can send and read JSON files through WebSockets

For example, Python users will be able to capture images through Visere Captura, shoot a 360 view, apply Visere Captura filters, run additional processing with OpenCV or other Python image processing tools, and automatically integrate the finished results into a custom workflow or database.

For teams building automated, high-volume, or custom technical imaging workflows, this will open up many new ways to connect Visere Captura with existing systems.
