When you install Visere Captura for the first time, you get a 10-day demo period with full functionality and no license file required. After 10 days, you’ll need to install a Tutum license file (tutum.lic) to continue using the software.
1. During Your Demo Period
You can use all features of Visere Captura for 10 days after installation. No registration or license file is required during this time. Once the trial expires, the software will prompt you to register before opening.
2. Registering Visere Captura
Follow these steps to register your software and request your license file.
Step 1 — Launch and Begin Registration
Open Visere Captura. The following dialog will show up:
If the 10-day demo is still active, you can skip registration and continue. After the demo expires, registration is required before you can use the software. Click OK.
Step 2 — Enter Your Details

Fill out the registration form with the following required information:
- Full name
- Purchaser’s e-mail
- Company
- Invoice number (optional – starts with #, or SAS-, or CAP-)
- Phone number (optional)

User e-mail (optional – if entered, the license will be sent here instead)
Note that the registration dialog can also be opened from Visere Captura by clicking on the Gear (upper-left corner) then "View serial number."
Step 3 — Submit Your Request
Click “Request registration.” You’ll be prompted to confirm your license type. Select OK. The Pictomic Support team will verify your purchase and issue the correct license.

Step 4 — If You See a Connection Error
If your computer is offline or blocked by a firewall, you may receive a connection error message.

In that case:
- Click OK to return to the registration window.

- Copy the full Serial Number displayed (highlight it until it turns blue and click CTRL+C on Win or CMD+C on Mac).
- Email that number to support@pictomic.com.
Pictomic Support will issue your license file based on this serial number.
3. Installing the Tutum License File
After verification, you’ll receive your Tutum license file (tutum.lic) within 72 hours from support@dmmd.net.
Step 1 — Save the License File
Save the attached file to a known folder on your local computer.
Step 2 — Check Your Junk or Spam Folder
Emails from support@dmmd.net can occasionally be filtered as junk. If you haven’t received your license within 72 hours, check your junk folder or contact support@pictomic.com. If email from support@dmmd.net is not received we will resend it from support@pictomic.com.
Step 3 — Import the License File
- Restart Visere Captura.
- In the first dialog click OK to get back to the registration dialog.
- Click “Choose license file…” in the registration dialog.
- Select the
tutum.licfile and click OK. - Restart the software again to activate your license.
Tip: Keep a backup of your tutum.lic file. It’s unique to your system and user and may be needed after hardware or OS changes.
4. Pro Tips
- Backup your license file. Store a copy on an external drive or cloud storage.
- Licenses are per user per machine. License files are not portable. You cannot generate the serial number from one account and then attempt to install the license file on a second account. Contact Support if you need to transfer your license.
- Typical turnaround: 24–72 business hours for license delivery.
