FlowLister eBay listing solution featuring product photography example.

FlowLister: From Product Photography to an eBay Listing

FlowLister is an AI-assisted listing platform that helps sellers turn product photographs and item information into eBay listings ready for review. After photographing a product, sellers still need to identify it, write the listing, select the correct category and item specifics, determine pricing, configure shipping, and publish the listing.

FlowLister is an AI-powered application designed to simplify this process for eBay sellers. It uses product photographs to help identify an item and prepare an eBay listing for review and publication.

Where FlowLister Fits into a Product Photography Workflow

FlowLister complements the product photography workflow created with Visere Captura and Pictomic photography turntables.

Visere Captura helps sellers capture and process consistent product photographs, detail views, and complete 360-degree image sequences. Sellers can then export representative still images and upload them to FlowLister.

Using the visual information contained in those photographs, FlowLister can assist with:

  • Identifying the photographed product
  • Creating an eBay listing title and description
  • Selecting a category and item specifics
  • Preparing condition information from visible evidence
  • Suggesting pricing based on completed eBay sales
  • Preparing shipping information
  • Creating a listing for the seller to review and publish

A Suggested Pictomic and FlowLister Workflow

  1. Place the product on a Pictomic photography turntable.
  2. Use Visere Captura to control the camera and turntable while capturing the product.
  3. Capture front, rear, label, model-number, and detail photographs as appropriate.
  4. Process the images and remove or replace the background when needed.
  5. Export selected still images from Visere Captura.
  6. Upload the selected images to FlowLister.
  7. Review the product identification, listing content, pricing, condition, and shipping information.
  8. Make any necessary corrections and publish the completed listing to eBay.

The same Visere Captura project can also be used to produce a 360-degree product presentation for websites and sales channels that support interactive product views.

Why the Workflow Is a Good Match

Pictomic focuses on the image-capture and image-processing stages of the eCommerce workflow. FlowLister focuses on turning product photographs into structured eBay listing information. Together, the two applications can help reduce the repetitive work between photographing an item and preparing it for sale.

This workflow can be particularly useful for eBay sellers processing products such as clothing, shoes, electronics, collectibles, tools, media, and household goods. Clear photographs of labels, model numbers, identifying marks, and product condition give FlowLister more visual information to work with.

Current Workflow and Future Integration

At this time, Visere Captura and FlowLister are separate applications. Sellers export selected images from Visere Captura and upload them to FlowLister manually. There is not yet a direct software integration between the two platforms.

FlowLister is developing a public API. Pictomic and FlowLister plan to explore a more streamlined Visere Captura-to-FlowLister workflow after the API becomes available and has been reviewed and tested.

A future integration could allow product photographs and related information to move directly from Visere Captura into FlowLister, reducing the manual steps between product photography and eBay listing creation.
